, any idea of locale?
if he's biting you. i'd leave him alone for a couple days to settle.
and before anyone comments, as i've got 10 snakes here, I think yes, I may just have some clue.

sometimes the breeders like to keep snakes from one certain area, for example if his parents are from around Port Macquarie, he would be a port mac locale.
My own coastal (called Nimmitz) is a semi striped from qld. He's never bitten me but is a god awful feeder and is small for his size.

i really wouldnt have a clue?
i'd have to track down the people i bought him off to find out
bruce is a great feeder, i give him a mouse roughly every 5 days
the only time he bites me is when i take him out of his tank, he's very cage defensive, he seems to settle down about 10 - 15mins after his out though
