with the micron & 2 Bros slip on they supplied piece a of alloy to bolt on the top of the servo......all the new cam does is stop on the housing as if there was tension on the cam from the cables...... like I said.... the old ones where like that.

yeah i did this to Red_Raves bike when it was sleeping in my garage. the FI light annoyed shit out of me.

What happened was that a friend removed his exhaust and left the cables and servo and after a couple of months the servo jammed and threw a code. He even mentioned something about the bike going into limp mode but I have no idea if that happened or not.

Ar yes leaving the cables connected will do that! If the cables are removed carefully ensuring the servo doesnt turn then like I said on both bikes I havent had an issue yet. Its 12 months so here's hoping ;)

Yeah same with zthou, remove cables carefully without moving cam and it still thinks its working..So no fi light
