That reminds me ... what's with that last stretch of road heading South before you turn off at the big roundabout to go to the Island? I'm sure they've been working on that widening for the last 2 years at least!? are those guys paid by the hour? :?

When are the pollies going to realise that camera's DO NOTHING FOR ROAD SAFETY and we KNOW that.........stop telling us they are doing things they are not :x :x

They have been well aware since the begining that they do nothing but raise revenue!!!!

Paul. i'm sure they are, reality is the Bass highway projects original contractor went arse up, now of course the old contractor has done all the foundation work and the road itself can only be as good as the foundation, my understanding is Vic Roads had a LOT of trouble finding someone to pick up the pieces and as a result no doubt the new contractor has Vic Roads by the short and curlies and is utilising said pressure too.
