A mate of mine has one in Ballarat, Brought it brand new and it is mint. Has hardly been ridden, totally original and from memory still has the original tyres. All he does is give it a polish every 6 months and put the sheet back over it.
Also has a brand new tank, 3 heads, 2 barrels and stack of pistons and rings, all brand new in there boxes.
Awesome to see, It's like a fire, You can sit round it with a can and just stare at it.

The band from Michigan?
You can buy a good bike for $27,000... not one that you remember was good.

Here is a bike that is worth every cent of the asking price.....[url=http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160498813962&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:AU:1123]1977 Z1000A1 requiring slight minor work to finish - all major work already completed[url]
At the moment, asking price on this rig is $5,500. You may think this a bit steep for a bike that still needs a bit of work..........but the reality is, that it only needs........a *bit* of work. THIS is a fair-dinkum price.....
One of the *Chiodo's* bikes ?? OK, these guys have a bit more credibility than your average street punter - but that still does not make this bike worth 27large, *unless* it is a real early-model 1972 build, with all the original (and extremely rare) original parts fitted......
