I actually thought they were allright. I presume what they're trying to do is reinforce their position as a traditional blokey beer in a 375ml bottle. The reference to the dude with the martini's and the guy that drops the skinny bottle of perfume beer after moisturising his hands is that they have become wusses because they don't drink VB.

Whether it will work is another thing.

You're right it is a VB that his mate hands him but he can't hang on to it because he's become a big blouse.

I think it's a pretty good ad in that it gets the message across that it wants to fairly effectively.

....and after all we're talking about it so it worked.

I am now super Pissed off that Fox Cable .... or what used to be cable & ad free viewing pleasure has become as bad as the free to air stations, I was watching Deadliest Catch the other night & this VB ad was shown at every opportunity, needless to say the mute button got a workout & laptop came in handy.... gone is the reason for getting cable in the first place.

They've got to be as tricky as they can with that sort of stuff because I believe they aren't allowed to just come out and say "Your a manly man if you drink VB".....so they have to imply it instead.

Yep glen VB itself is ok, It was my choice of beer for many years, its the ghey ads that they have produced that suck
