Just hold the power on until it runs out of revs, or tap the rear brake and it should drop down smoothly..
New fork seals aren't THAT expensive...

Runs out of revs.??? Whats that, redline..? Nah.. change up a gear and don't use the clutch to change either..
I did a huge wheely out the front of my house the other week and I had to quickly drop it to make the corner. It came down so hard it broke the clip on mount... damn it...

All the you guys mentioned is too much to do at once, i'm still a newie.
I know forkseals aren't expensive and i can even do them myself, but its the headache of working on the bike.
I use to love taking it a part and fixing everything now i'm over it.
I still do all the work that needs to be done but as quick as it should.
The only thing thats done regularly is servicing and chain lube.

Hi Guys.....
I'm new so a big hello to everyone.
I've got an 01 6R, and she wheelies quite easily now.
I had trouble at the start, and I think fear and nervousness plays quite a part in this.
I rode one day with extra thick gloves and because you tend to lose some "feel" I gave the throttle quite a wind up. The front came up no probs, and from then on I was confident the bike had the goods and I was the problem.
It was just a matter of practice from then on.

Welcome to Team KSRC Orlando!!! Nice to have you here....
As I've been telling a few of these newts (sorry guys), it's all about confidence... and once you've got it up there a couple of times, you'll keep getting it up there... (Yes, I'm talking about wheelies!!)
Thats why it's great if you can get someone to film you. That way you can see how weak your wheelies really are.

Thanks Mario, and good choice of bike
Mine's the Candy Lightning Blue colour, the salesman promised me it's the faster one (yeah right

)
I'm from Melbourne..... from good old downtown Coburg.
Hope to catch up with some of you on some rides.

Both mario and the dealer lied. Black is the fastest. Especially if its a 7r.

Orlando,
I know that sales people can be a bunch of lying, coniving, good for nothing... err, you get the picture.
But I think that this fellow must have taken some honesty pills that day!!
Blue is by far the fastest of the Kawasaki's, and it's also the easiest colour on the eyes.
If you want to prove this, just stop on a street with a couple of other ZX6's, and grab every chick that walks by and ask them which colour they prefer....
It'll go something like this:
Woman walks by:
"Excuse me, Miss.... Miss.... err, hello.... Damn!!" Woman keeps walking.
Woman walks by:
"Ahh, hi, Miss, Miss.... Bloody women. Ahh..."
Anyway, this will go on until you finally manage to get one that doesn't think you are some wierdo who wants to ask her questions about your bike. (How wrong is she??)
"Hi, how are you?? If I told you that you had a bueatiful body, would you hold it against me? No.. ok, umm, which of these 3 different coloured Kawasaki's do you like the most?"
She says: "Oh, I didn't realise there were any other bikes here. That blue is just amazing......"

hahahahahaha
Yea Jason,
Blue has always been my favorite colour
I'm hoping that in a couple of years the 10R would come out in the blue colour........then I'd upgrade in an instant.
