Have you tried one with Genmar or similar riser for the handlebars? The pain in the seating can be improved by risers, adj Gillies or similar footpegs and Airhawk as already mentioned.

I am 6'2" and weigh in at $1.10.
I find the ergonomics of my ZX14 really good, the only thing i did do is put on a set of helibar risers that lift the bars up 10mm and back 5, just to take the weight off my wrists withut spoiling the look of my bike
Having established a good ass groove, I have no probs doing 1000 km days

no probs mate, The zx14 is an awesome bike that not only eats up the km when your touring, but pulls like a dorm full of schoolboys and is surprisingly nimble for its size when you get into the twistier stuff.
I ride mine every day, its now got 60,000km on it since I picked it up new in nov 2008 and it still has more power than you an use.
I had it dyno'd the day after its 48,000km service and it cam in at 155bhp at the back wheel........ stock as a rock.
A fantastic bike for anyone who likes a bit of 'spirited riding' but doesnt want something that is going to break you (back wrists etc) after 200km
BUY ONE !! you wont regret it

massive plus ONE..... 
I have lost count of the number of bikes that I have owned........ I can say without a doubt the 14 is the best bike I have ever owned or ridden....... An alrounder with everything you need.... power, handling, braking, comfort, etc etc....
