This plane is hardly in the air.. They can't afford it unless they get more speeding revenue! Oh.. and as long as the days stay foggy.. it doesn't fly.....
I think the plane is the least of issues when it comes to fines, as there is no way it can take pictures of a motorbike plate that is under the fender..(although nothing to stop it calling in the friendly HWP at goulburn..)
I may be blind.. but that list doesn't seem to have putty or old pac on it????? or am i just blind?

I know they are all meant to be Territorys, but just 15 mins ago on the way home through Penrith I caught sight of a new Camry with a load of what looked like cameras on the roof and some stripes of some sort all over it. Could not make out if it was branded. From a distance I thought it might have been one of the google cars, but as I passed closer it didnt look like them either. Was moving at the time, not parked. If I see it again I will snap a photo. Most likely not a speed camera car, but spooked me none the less.

Ive seen the Plane working during the day Numerus times on the M4 between Penrith and Mamre Rd.
i believe they call down to a car or bike to pull the driver in, although the height they were flying , i reckon they could pick up a car plate quite easy.
I've also heard vicious rumours of unmarked cars, that follow you and take video/pics, and not pull you over. Then send fines in the mail so as to not give up their identity. They drive FPV utes and Camry's etc. Working in the Blacktown area.

There was a black one down here today.
Thought it was meant to be a fleet of white ones to come out

On a 2GB radio report late this arvo, it was stated that on 9000? recordings from combined camera checks only 30 were over
the speed limit to recieve a warning. The RTA absolutely refuses to give out any info in the event it may be of the
slightest benefit to road uses.
Obviously over time we are supposed to generally forget about them and thus $$$$+++, as we all know, Simply Dirty Play.
Good Luck every one, stay

Maybe time to put a little sticker on the triple tree as a reminder, perhaps based on the image in my .sig?

Are these things taking shots of the front or rear?
The link below of how these things work doesn't mention it

you'd have thought they'd be rear facing in the direction they intend to get you...
on a side note i got passed by boris (AMCN boris) on the way to work and he said "did you see the camera coming onto the gladesville bridge?" i'd come from the hunters hill entry so i said no, but it was the day after this shit was implemented... so maybe the guys who travel vic road should be careful... in addition to the drummoyne one listed above (unless its not the intersection of vic rd and lyons road)

What I meant was are they taking photos of the front or rear of the speeding vehicle?

I imagine it is front if your on the same side of the road as the camera, and rear if your not. Assuming they've got it setup to do both sides / there aren't any obstructions in the median in the middle.
