I don't think this was the new mobile speed cameras, Greg. Probably Radar and/or Rego recognition cameras.....
New speed cameras suppose to start 19th July, and you will get the ticket in the mail, not pulled over at the scene......

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ATTRIBUTES REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:


* Well developed communication and interpersonal skills. (as you will read a lot of magazines and newspapers )
* Ability and willingness to work (term used loosley) irregular shift rosters.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure. (It's very stressful sitting on your own after all)
* Possess reasonable computer and/or technical skills. (my 3 yr old uses a digital camera)
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail. (don't want to miss the specials in the paper)
* Some knowledge of digital photography. (although it's fully automatic)
* You must have and maintain a current New South Wales drivers licence. (Don't get caught yourself you idiot's)
* You will be required to undertake a medical examination. (To see if you can stomach fast food)
* You will be required to also pass a Police Record Check and a Traffic Offences Check. (ever lost a demerit?...you're out mate)
* Extensive training will be provided. (2 minutes required)


MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:

You must have and maintain a current New South Wales drivers licence. (previously discussed)

You must have exceptional communication skills in spoken English. ( as camera's talk now)
