I got the collins and like Dave#3 reckon they're great value. Comfy etc... I have a 1 piece Spyke set second hand and they feel really comfy too! Just try a few on and see how you go!

Don't buy cheap ebay leathers - A little off at T1 Broadford saw a leg seam split and the shoulder disintergrated - I however walked away, SO I guess they did their job. I have Rhino leathers that are 14 years old and have survived two offs really well, the worst mark on them is from regular rucksack usage. The new Rhinos I got from the US of A are a better fit and seem to have the same quality - but I haven't crash tested them yet.

+1
Gimoto are a great fit being custom measured. Exxy though $$$$.

I like the look of top RS taichi suits but cant vouch for the fit though.

I just bought a Joe Rocket 5.0 (top of the line) jacket from BGW at Narrellan as they were closing down their walk in shop and heading towards online only. Its RRP was $899 and I got it for $399!!So give them a call or check out their website (link below)

The jacket fits (me) like a glove and feels really good...by that I mean, its solid and I feel safe in it. A bit heavy compared to other jackets but they dont have all the good armour inside..

Cheers Matt...

Ride hard but safe, and most of all have fun!

RS Taichi gear is excellent, got some GP EVO Gloves and they are they best fitting and feel gloves i have owned.
I purchased mine from the US($250 including shipping) but its great to finally have a supplier in Australia.
Local price seems very competitive $279, actually lower then the US.
These are the gloves:

I bought a Cortech leather two piece suit January and it seems OK. It is the leather with the perferations, (holes) for ventilation and I am surprised as to how cool I stay in 32 degree C. plus temps as long as I'm moving. It is rather hot when I come to a stop, however. I have not crash tested it yet but another member of this forum stated in another thread that he/she had and they held up well. They may be hard to get in your part of the world, however so maybe a local make would be cheaper. Definitly try them on, as the main selling point of the Cortechs were that they were the only brand I could find that fit comfortably. This is another reason I would not buy online. Jim Beam and a beer will help you make a decision.

If you're touring go 2 piece. Easier at the comfort stops

We went looking for some leathers for Leanne and these jumped out and came home with us instead. :D I was looking at getting some from OS but these worked out about $50 dearer at $845 so it was worth getting them from Actions. I wanted the black with white highlights as I didn't want to look like a Russ wanna-be but these were the only colour they had in my size. To be honest I was amazed they had them in a 60 and they actually fit.
