Thanks mate. Doing the figures its killing me like the "jet ski project" trying to keep costs down.

I thought there'd be more trailers on ebay but then you need 2 x trailer with do whackies (not bagging anyone here) this guy does a 2 bike trailer with ramps for $800 registered.

So far after recommendations from a very generous gentleman and some chinese fairings I should have a zx6r track bike plus trailer for ~$4500.

come on plan reedy, im dying to get out to EC. :kuda:

"250 pisser" as was quoted by a respectable gentleman just doesn't cut it anymore. Track it up.

How do these biker only trailers work if there is no floor but only a channel? I only ask if you are loading the bike by yourself if it does not have a trailer mate or similar there is no way to keep the bike upright and tie the thing down without performing some marshal arts move.

I got a cheap 7 x 5 with removable cage, welded a frame to take a water proof tool box (that can carry the tyre warmers, seats etc) on the front and jerry can holder. Take the box off and put it in the garage without having to unload everything. The trailer is can be used for other household tasks as well. I don't use a trailer mate, a couple of bits of channel and the tie downs work quite well. Can load and unload two bikes on my own without hassle.

ive loaded up the zx7r on a channel trailer on my own.
you have to pre set up the front strap, prefferably a handlebar strap and have it all ready to go.
its not fun and id definately recommend having a second person to help, but it can be done.

get one with a floor. then you rolll the bike up, whack it on the stand and then chuck your tie downs on and pull it up straight.

unless you have trailermates.

One with a floor is well worth the extra cost.
