There's no requirement to have two coppers there. Most of my work is done on my own. The advantage of having two coppers there is that one of them can hold the camera and the other can use the hand-held radar/laser.

I've passed them doing exactly this in the Black Spur. Thankfully I was riding the pace and sailed by happilly knowing I wasn't speeding, and that I wasn't going to slow down for the next corner. At the end of the Spur there was a group of bikes, all with unhappy riders. Oh the injustice of getting caught doing 120 in an 80 zone. There is a time and a place for everything, and speeding on the most heavilly policed road in Australia probably isn't it!
