You northerners are definitely odd. If a slice of potato is a scallop, what do you call the shellfish?

And we don't listen to people who pronounce castle like parcel. :P

a scallop as we known in Vic lives on the bottom of the ocean or bay.... and comes in a shell
so I have no bloody ideaa what you NewsouthWelshpeople think you are eating.....
And with potato "cake" as in "let them eat cake", what do you think you are eating?

Agreed.
Don't you blokes start. You call devon "fritz" ( and it's not supposed to be an inch thick) and power poles "stovey poles", what the hell is that all about. And while we're on it you call Schooners "Pints" and Middies "Schooners".

As for bloody Victorians a Pot is something you cook your dinner in not something you order a beer in........

We were here first now the rest of you just fall in line allright.......................

Actually Stobie poles are a specific type of pole with two bits of steel and a lump of concrete in the middle, designed specifically to cut cars in half, kill all the occupants and not show a scratch
