I love the handling of this bike, confident as hell, and turns easy. I felt more comfy on really windy days on the freeways/bolti etc, compared to the zx6.
I love Pilot Road 2 tyres (both front and rear). This one has a Pilot Sport front, with a Road 2 rear, can't wait till I wear the front off and put a Road 2 there.
Never seemed to mind the weight at all. It swerves and turns quick, feels comfy, and has a LOT of power and RPM range to play on.
I love the sitting position. Comfortable, yet all through out gives you a feel of being in control. You can adjust your riding position easy on this sitting position if you are into long trips. Mrs felt it comfy sitting pillions on short trips too.
I have been used to riding Royal Enfields, Yezdi, on places like Leh/Ladakh. I felt more at home on the ZRX than the ZX6. Got to love the wide bars
One thing for sure, am keeping this for a real long time, and no way am going back to faired/super sports bikes. Pick one up, you can never go wrong on a ZRX
@Phil,
I'll pm Jetpilot straight away. I am considering a GPS 'cos I intend to start some touring

The ZX6 was a pain in the ass for long rides. Am now more in love with the Zumo 550

But with limited funds, I either have to choose a GPS ($800) or Thor Force Guards+Boots+Draggins.
And thanks for liking the bike/pics guys. Hope someone starts a photo competition soon so I can try winning some goodies

Kerker only do the meg in a full system, BUT you can get a Kerker slip on but its conventional shape. If your chasing HP the Kerker is NOT the pipe for you - there are others that will make more HP (and not send you deaf, eh Eric.....ERIC CAN YOU HERE ME

). BUT if your going for the "Eddie" look - well the Kerker is the only one

Dont think so, you need one that bolts to the flange on the OEM pipe

Gedday Shadow, go on to the ZRXOA.org site ... keep an eye on the parts for sale and you'll pick one up at a good price. With the exchange rate as it is, it won't cost much.
Most of the parts on my bike are secondhand from various sites (shocks, seat, steering damper, rearsets, full pipe and more) at an aweful lot less that shop prices.
29th at 10 bells for a blast, meet at Yea ... you in?
Cheers,
TC

Under $1000 is no problem - regardless of how it is classified.

$1000AUD.
For the price that full system Akra is i'd be jumping on it quick if I were you. IMHO the best
performance pipe for the ZRX

any idea about the weights Phil? So i have a rough idea bout the shipping costs before I pm them?
A full TI set like that akra, or a carbon/ti bolt on, how much do they roughly weigh?
I love that full akra

but don't I have to pick up jetting kits and airfilters to tune after putting that akra in?
How much do jet kits and air filter mods cost? Don't wanna go on pods right now, cos I think that would make me take off the entire air filter box....but would if I really have to

Thats the beauty of the Akra, development is done on the std airbox and carb settings, hence you just bolt it up and away you go. You may get 1 or 2 more hp from a jet kit but IMHO its more trouble than its worth. One of the reasons I always recomend the Akra over say a Muzzy or my Kerker. No airbox/carby mods req'd - unless you want to go for the pods.
I'd budget on about 7kg
