I've already got one. I had to use the tag off an old bag to get it, remember. I just didn't appreciate the sarcastic response to my post.

To be honest I hope mohawk miss can get them without the tag and I will encourage everyone and their dog to go to her to get them as I completely disagree with the practice of requiring the tags.

Umm, I didn't at any stage say you didn't, and I don't disbelieve you. I wasn't being sarcastic in my reply to you either.

AFAIK the bike shop gets hit with a $50 penalty for ordering a kit without a bag. So (I'm just assuming here, ok) to discourage people from costing them money they either a) charge an extra $50 for bagless orders or b) make you produce evidence of having a bag already so they can avoid the suppliers' penalty.

I can't really go into detail here but happy to talk privately if you like.

Sorry if I misinterpreted your post, but that was the way it came across to me. The fact that I was half asleep probably didn't help. I didn't mean for my post to sound quite so aggressive (and sarcastic) but when I read it back today I guess it does come across that way. In the end what we are arguing over doesn't really matter. If you can get the rack for Dave, I suggest he give you a call and get you to sort it out for him.

Not sure, but i'll second this. Had a gearsack rack on my last two bikes before my current one and i can tell you they are a damned sight better. Absolutely no sign of give whatsoever, anywhere in its construction, at all, ever.
