I just bought some down at the GP. They were $70 and work well. Much better than disposables for longer rides. I had them in for 9 hours today and they didn't start to irritate like the disposable ones do. It took a bit to get used to how much noise they cut out.

... also bought a pair for $70.

A bit louder than expected, certainly can hear the exhaust a lot better :D but seems to cut out a lot of the wind noise.

Only did about 150kms home from GP and was well pleased with them. Initial thoughts are that they are better than the disposables, a few rides will tell.

Thanks for all the feedback earlier.
Cheers,
TC

Was $45 last year, same as the helicopter flights, $70 this year for both so it was one or the other and the earplugs won out easily. Shitload better than disposables IMO.

Got a set made up yest in Sydney. Didn't want to post until I'd used them. Seemed to work very well cutting out the wind noise. Probably more useful on longer runs and trackdays. Also sed them last night for lap swimming and kept the water out nicely! I like them but the swaying factor was the added bonus of being able to use them in the pool.

i cant hear the neighbours mowing when I sleep on days when working the night shift
cuts out lots of wind noise and sits better in my ears than the cheap foam ones.

I got mine at the bike show last year best investment yet although they seem to be able to block the wailing siren of a police car is supposed hot pirsuit at 120k :D , seriously though for long to longish rides well worth the investment my ears used to ring for days after a long ride now no probs.
