If I give away St Johns it will not be replaced with motorcycling, it will replaced with more family or renovation stuff, so I'm screwed either way I guess.

Sometimes I think that I have it tough...divorced - who do I please...ME. Kids and grandkids a long way away (sucks sometimes)
Semi retired...time for rides...sometimes with Ulysses but more often on my own in the mountains where I can go for 50kms of dream roads and not see another vehicle. Only problem I do some casual work Friday and Saturday nights which rules out weekend riding except when I get a weekend off...

It's all about priorities...what is most important...only YOU can answer that... :kuda:

Done
Harsh reality 'licenced' is that if you "lost interest" in riding a motorcycle then you have never been a TRUE motorcyclist and this is reflected in the questions / gripes about the questions.

Just an observation

Aside from that , best of luck with the thesis ,,, now hurry up , get your degree , move up the chain and design better motorcycle roads in QLD ... or better still WA  which also make safer roads for both motorcycles and passenger vehicles obviously ;)
