Seiko - Heroics after the fact is all well and good but 1 man be it armed , trained (ie police/military) or just plain fucking huge may not fair so well against half a dozen drug fucked youths.

But I have to agree, out of control kids are due to the lack of consequences for their actions. Parents and teachers should be able to disciplin within reason, and jail should be a farkin horrid place - not TVs, not gyms, no pool rooms, just shit living conditions and shit food. Right now the deterrent is just not enough.

Equal or necessary force should be a reasonable and lawful response to an unprovoked attack.
Unfortunately this can be misconstrued, and with the innocent tainted as the aggressor in a court of law. (and even sometimes rightfully so .. ie: one taunts another into throwing a blow and responds excessively = premeditated)
