From what i recall of the review they are a bit exxy at around 18 for the base model. The one they had on review had all the bling bits (actually i may be wrong on the exhaust as an aftermarket, i don't think there is one). With all the bits the price is closer to 23 +ORC!

I have had a blast on the 08 z1000 and it is a fun bike but it makes me want to get the foot down and ride it like a big motocross bike. The 06 zrx1200 I rode felt bland to me but I only had them both for a day so take that with a pinch of salt as I did not like the 09 zx10 on the road (it would be sweet on the track or on good road surfaces). The 1250 bandit was so crap that I took it back (as a loan bike) and took the z1000 again!

Stock Z1000's don't handle, if you think they do! then ride something that does "Speed Triple"
" and compare. You will end up spending more on suspension upgrades to get the Kwaka near the Trumpet.

Who said they handle? They are fun because they are squirmy. Fast no fun yes.
