Good to hear he survived in more or less one piece Snorky.

There is much truth to those rumours. here's a pic of a mate who had a low speed off wearing his Draggins. Sterile scrubbing brushes brushes required.

Yea lucky it wasnt to bad
My dad told me something when i bought my bike though it was a great warning....
"9/10 people who ride a motor bike will fall off at least one in their life. You WILL fall off, just hope you dont get to badly hurt."
I was luck my first fall (2 weeks after gettign my licence) was only a small one, 2 fractures bones in my wrist splint for 3 weeks straight back on the bike 30 mins after getting the splint off. Been back on for coming up on 2 weeks now, wonder when my next one will be!

MX knee armour under the kevlar jeans offers some additional protection.

I would never wear any type of jean or any kevlar pants as they dont come with CE approved guards especially in the knees, its just too risky

Actually I don't look at the Cigarette ad's either, I don't like that sort of stuff, I don't need to see it, I have seen enough gore in my life and I know what can happen if you come of your bike, if you smoke or other injuries, I'ev been sliced open by my surf board before I don't need to see that kind of stuff.

I think seeing those pics are EXACTLY what people need to see (me included, I did my fair share of kevlar jean wearing this summer).

Yes you did. Now you fully understand the risk you take with Draggin jeans. Time to get full leathers if you don't already have them.

Hiya,
Joel and csgup1,good to see you both walked away ok.
Protective clothing is a megga bonus.
A strong percentage of us ride regularly in casuals doing our thing and taking it all for granted innocently.
When i was young i had broken a leg on 2 different occasions and on a 3rd off,i broke 4 ribs and a young ladies wrist +a mates front wheel in my back.
Get back on those Bikes and ride.
Snorky, it's great to see yourv'e got a lad on a bike.
