Don't really understand this either as I personally find someone with a feminine figure squeezed into leathers pretty umm, nice (ok, hot/sexy/phwoar/yum/arooooogah). Most female riders have self-confidence in themselves and their riding ability and I also find that attractive.seraph wrote:Someone on another forum made a comment that stuck me as really strange:Please be honest, I'm really curious - I would have thought riders would have loved a Mrs that rides?!? I promise I will not get dark at anyone's answers, if you'd like to PM me instead of posting publicly, please do.Then again, I really don't want a chick that rides ...
I already know all the reasons women (people in general) -should- ride, just curious why one should not?![]()
I just don't understandJ.
Damn straight, and I think this also goes for other stuff which would be considered "out there" for the ladies to do, scuba diving, parachuting, martial arts, etcRatmick wrote:I also like the self confidence that most female riders have in themselves and I find that attractive.
make this a poll, put me down for the fish option!Ratmick wrote: My guesses?
* Maybe he has children that need taking care of while he gets out for a day of freedom
* Maybe he doesn't like independent self-confident women
* Maybe he feels threatened and his tiny male ego wouldn't handle the strain of admitting his partner was a better rider
* Maybe he has NFI and needs slapping with a wet fish
* Maybe he prefers men in tight leather. Oiled sweaty leather with arseless chaps (ewwww).
This sounds like you've applied this one persons preference to all women (which is a one-way trip to crazytown!) He said he didn't really want a chick that rides. That's a completely different thing than saying women shouldn't ride...seraph wrote:I already know all the reasons women (people in general) -should- ride, just curious why one should not?
& that goes both ways, The keeper doesn't like me racingMadKaw wrote:One thing I will say is, I did worry when she went for a ride on her own....
