Photomike- Poor dude, ill never make fun of another mature age student ever again...promise! lol jks i think going to uni at a mature age is a great idea, you tend to understand more when you are older and more mature and not f*ck around like me and cram for exams on thursday, got a whole econometrics course to cram in one day

.
firey- Only been to the bar once

uni = study my friend not to get pissed! def plan on camping there during the month off haha. Dunno about the pie chip gravy for $2 i'm a health conscious eater.

WHAT?! I thought Uni would be a blast, currently in my final year of VCE and it sucks balls. I just can't wait to get out of here and go to Uni and find myself a job. Sounds pretty sweet to me, Uni 3-4 days, work 2-3 days, ride my motorbike to Uni. Beats highschool, 5 days a week 9-3pm, Sacs and exams like crazy, the little wannabe year 8-10 punks thinking they run the school and the teachers always on your back.
The year can't go any faster, BRING ON UNI!

You are studying the wrong course then.

Most people I knew at uni managed to do both, some did more of the latter and still got through. Their motto was P's mean degrees! For some careers your transcript doesn't count. As long as you have the piece of paper at the end you could get a job so extra study to get distinctions were a waste of their time.

I still remember a few of the boys coming around with a carton to pull an all-nighter to get a major group assessment done for the next day. 80 pages of work in one night between the four of us; and we ended up with a reasonable mark!
Courses that require a thesis suck up a lot more of your time though. I'm so glad I never had to write one.

I start back at uni next semester to finish the second half of my post-grad certificate. I really am NOT looking forward to it, but I am basing that on my undergrad experience where I was doing full-time uni & full-time work, and seriously starting to go around the twist! Hopefully full-time work and part-time uni will be much easier!
