the stock rear blinkers on the crim are 180mm apart.
somehow they made it through ADR like that. so as long as your blikers are wider than that you'll be pretty safe i reckon.

but the integrated ones are askin for trouble i think.

as is riding with no mirrors. i'd like to see you head check all the way behind you every 30 seconds or so looking for ambulances, coppers, firetrucks and faster riders.

just count yourself lucky you didnt get done for no rear fender, no rear reflector, rego lables wrongly attached, noisy exhaust etc.

On the approach to any stretch of road with corners, he wouldn't need to headcheck. He'd just know they'd be there.

I would suggest he doesn't need the mirrors for the faster riders because you don't need mirrors to see someone else's brake light

As i told the officer, i have a shaved head so i don't need any mirrors!!!

You can't defect the front indicators if the passed the requirements in the first place for entry to Australia!!!!

Hmmm correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty certain that you can defect anything that isn't ADR approved..... so although they are 'similar' to the stock indicators.... they are not the stock ones...... and haven't been ADR'd..... Since the ones fitted are aftermarket.... they are not actually the ones that passed the requirements..... You can have the same issue by installing globes that are not ADR compliant... ie the 'blue' style XENON ones etc... you will notice some of those are not road legal..

ZX your bike looks sensational, but lets face it..... it was only a matter of time with the mods you have before this happened.... suck it up and either change it to comply with the law or be prepared to keep forking out the $$$ in fines etc.

Personally I don't think that it would spoil the look by having mirrors and rear indicators... I reckon you could get away with the front ones still... as long as they are not too pedantic....

Ummmm Marty , Dave (pick one) , Mike , Mick , Russ , Wattie , JP ......... etc etc still run mirrors on the road and your point is ??

PS 'pig spotters' are a complete waste of time IMO... farking useless on a 10

I reckon pigspotters look ridiculous... I prefer the look of the Magical Racing carbon fibre mirrors

I have the series 1 pig spotters they look like fishing rod holders so 1 of my mates said to me once before
She's all booked in for Tuesday morning to get defects off

Grrr its gonna look shit after the weekend with mirrors hanging out on it & indicators either side of the number plate
