Will need (additional to usual tools) -
Rattle Gun
Long Socket
Grinder
2 hammers - or a hammer and a mallet... unless someone has a proper chain tool.. (the $10 MAW one Hoffy bought is useless, we went back to hammers.. )
Extension lead

Rob, Can you bring or will I..?

Frame mods and removal of excess weight...

or cutting the old chain off and grinding the head off the pins on the new chain to make it the right size...

Don't worry, we'll tell you what to do... ;)

to cut the chain.

eeermmmm.... if we cut the chain, how will we re-join it? wont we need a joining link??

the factory one wont have one... and it we cut it, will it be long enough?

and another thing, if we take the rear wheel off, let the chain slack, we should be able to get the front sprocket out and new one in without breaking the chain yeah?? (like you did doing the seal on your 10 dave?
