Image

yes, she's a beauty....alluring in red!!..........but, true story, i was traveling along the M2 with my L's, doing nearly 80ish. A rather large bike cruised up next to me, gave me a nod and a wave,(nice fellow) then popped it onto the back wheel for about 100m and was gone.
I thought..."Jeessssus...I hope he doesn't expect my little 250 to do that!"

That wasn't you by chance :)

Hi all.
Thanks for the words of welcome, words of wisdom and somehow, sense of belonging. Now i just need to see a few of you lone riders, out on the roads.
It has taken me a while to reply as i have been in recluse of late. Apologies, unfortunately i did suffer that Mid Life Crisis and have been consoled by wife with newish ZZR 600 as pictured.

Can you tell I'm crapping on!! (Missed my calling, should have been a Soapy actor!!). I been too busy riding the thing!!

Freaking ecstatic !! Not sure how i convey what a kick-ass ride it is, with the magnum pipes, BT-50 tires, and am firming it up during the next service. But then again i am over 40!! So anything faster than a motorized wheel chair is awesome!!! Though they kick along quite nicely also!! I must be getting old........
"""""But that's not to say my last 2003 ZZR-250 Blue/Silver, supreme, pinnacle, exceptional, fantastic, awe-inspiring, legendary, second hand (baby) was not the best bike in the world"""". Memories, memories, memories!!! More brainwashing required to remove buzzing in ears!!

And with the loud pipes, i find less cars cutting me off!! I think they are now a safety feature.

I still take it easy, but much more reassuring to know you have oodles of HP and braking when required

Belated welcome Flip - great bike there.
She'll do at least 2:04 around EC ;) perhaps even better if you're wearing leathers and remove the centre stand
