I know this discussion is old now, however I could not find any specific conversion info either, so...
I created my own Blog which you may find interesting... or at least informative.

I had to work it out for myself.
And I dont like paying for work unless really necessary.
There are many modifications that could be done to the GPz900R, mine was a staight forward option.
Someone may find the information useful.
