Actually my bike does it too! no idea why! when I have my tyre warmers on I have to put my foot on the brake when I start the bike then just let it idle, if I give it a rev the wheel spins and tries to eat my warmers power cord

Sorta on the same subject my old h***a used to stall from the clutch sticking if I didn't warm it up....

If you're worried about this happening again you really need to pre-warm your oil. The most effective way of doing this would be to remove your lower fairings and place a small fire underneath the sump, preferably one you prepared earlier so you've got some nice coals
