Gidday PHeonix25,
My wife learnt to ride on a GPX250 about 10 years ago, good bikes and been around a long time. The bike was supplied by Kelens, think they are one of the unsung heros for Kawasaki, they all have two green eyes in that shop.
There is a lot of good advice on this forum, and some shit also, but you will sort it all out.
Good riding.

Thanks guys, just wanted to leave one last update to this.
I ended up buying Hornee jeans from BikeBiz in Parra because I was there picking up a Junior Lock and they fit (I got them taken up 2.5" though)
I'll look into Kelens for any other things that I need, thanks for the heads up!!
Passed my competency class yesterday and went and passed the computer test straight away. Then drove home, picked up the bike, and headed (slowly) up to Springwood (yes, the bends on Springwood Road are well known to me), down to Windsor and then out to Wilberforce and along the Putty for about an hour, turned around and did the reverse home...
Was an awesome ride... and everything seems to be going well.
Now just to remember to check the cold-tyre pressures and to replace the oil every fortnight/month (due to the kays I'll be riding).
Might skulk around the forums and see if there's going to be a run along the "old-road" this weekend, and come and join you all -- if you don't mind another learner sitting at the back watching everything.
Thanks again for all the warm welcomes, and I'll see you on the road.
