I had that problem and all the suggestions above are good.
I still had trouble and ended up buying some raisers for the handle bars from the US of A. They worked a treat, also raising my ride position too which was helpful to take the weight of my hands and less back pain being in a more upright position. Easy to install on my bike and nothing else needed to be altered to fit them, the finish and general appearance are just like they were factory made.
They were not cheap at $140.00au but a definate improvement.

i have the same problem (speaking about original post) but i have a 7r which is more forward than the 6r.

buy the boxing grip excersises (the squeeze things) they help strengthen ur wrists. its good 4 riding amounds other things.

[quote="Pontikat" you can also buy this Foam tubing that goes inside the handle bar(absorbs vibration)[/quote]

Thanks for the response guys. I've tried looking for heavier ends weights than whats already on it but with no luck. Think I'll give this foam thing a go, but how do I get it insde the clipons?

I have a similar problem..
I went to the docs and had some tests done and they found I had Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. Its a pretty simple fix, they open up your hand and cut the muscle arounf the wrist to let the blood flow better. The only problem is they won't operate until its almost unbearable so I currently take anti inflammitary pills when it flairs up... and thats evertime I ride..:-)

Having a zx7r and then dropping the bars under the triple clamps on my 9 doesn't help, but hey, I like that riding position..:-)
