He musta had a 250cc licence already? :shock:
2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R :) Yeah I like Kawasakis.

Possibly not.

Before the new restrictions came in, you could do a Q-Ride course and walk away with a ticket to get a FULL OPEN LICENCE straight away. Other than passing the course, the only restriction was you simply had to have held a driver's licence for at least 3 years.

So, a new rider could do a course over three days and go buy a ZX-14. :shock:


The new restrictions, however, require EVERYONE to spend 12 months on a 250 (until LAMS comes into effect). Furthermore, kids can no longer just go get their their bike licence. They have to go through their cage L's, then 12 months on P's before they can qualify to get their bike L's.
