I like the ER-6f only cause I have one but they are an awesome bike
I have no problems keeping up with the boys on there toys when the need be ( i am sure they r only being nice at times too
and it is a very forgiving bike
I cannot comment on the other as I have not even sat on one sorry

Re: ER6 or Z750, which should I choose?
I went to the local Kwaka dealer this afternoon and I think he has convinced me to look at the Z750, heck he almost convinced me to trade in the ZX6R for the Z.
He reckon the Z750 was better more fun bike than the Z1000, and even though he spoke highly of the ER6 he said that if I was coming off the ZX6R onto the ER6 I wouldnt like it.
Hey Lainie, have you seen the post of the 09 ER6F, mighty fine I must say

Re: ER6 or Z750, which should I choose?
my 2c...
Rode a er6 for 3 days, hated it, it felt cheap and nasty, vibrated and rattled
I rode an 07 z1000, and it was so much better than my bike, and they say that the 08 750 is equivalent to my 06 z1000..
So bang for your buck, Z750 all the way
(I'd actually recommend the 750 as well over the 1000 - the 1000 can be twitchy with that much torque)
But I used to work in a bike shop, what would I know

kawa twins sound different to inline 4s. they're a lot smoother once you get the revs up.ttc wrote: Rode a er6 for 3 days, hated it, it felt cheap and nasty, vibrated and rattled

If yuo didnt live so far I would give ya my bike for a day and see how you liked it but I struggle getting out of the garage these days just not enough time. Are you going to PI next weekend?
I wont be going to PI this year, another guy I work with has taken time off to go down, so next year it will be my turn to have time off, I like to take the friday and Monday when I go as it allows me to relax and enjoy the whole weekend more, just have to watch on telly this year
Here is a couple of pics of the new ER6F from the US, and after talking to the Local Kwaka dealer it looks like we will be getting these here.

I havent riden a z750 but spent a day on a er6,did the whole spurs thing on it as well as out broadford way.I did 400 ks on it and intially it was interesting i was bored with it after the first 150 ks and proceeded to ring its neck for the other 250 ks and yep you guessed it it didnt get any better even when it was rarely out of the redline

Antoher vote for the 750
It is my first bike and i love it, its nto scary at all, and its sooo easy to use, though i cannot compare it to the ER6.
