Hey Andre, welcome to the GREEN site,

OK, going to update the profile now. I'm from Hornsby and hoping to do some track days this year. I won't say what the track bike is yet as I don't want to give you guys any ammunition.

Andre[/quote]

Just as long as it's a Yamaha or a Suzuki you're OK....

Hi Andre,

Sorry we met under such horrific conditions today .. .I hope ya come good soon son.... the other guy will take a while longer me thinks.

Attached is what his bike looks like.

To all the others, this happened comin down the hill from the PITS and just into the right hander .... The honda lost it, went sliding up the rock face, then hooked back down falling on poor Andre as he went following through . ..

I was about 30 secs behind . .

Keep safe guys

Richo

Andre got carted off in the ambo too, he had a pretty nasty hit from the Honda on the shoulder (as it was flying at him through the air!) but should pull up ok. The other guy .... well, multiple fractures to his arm .. and what else I dunno, they were holding him pretty still in a neck brace when they put him on the stretcher.

Oh, also .... careful of that section in case the fireies didnt get all the fuel off the road peoples .. .its obviously bad enough when theres a wet corner, let alone fuel residue.

I dunno who the other rider was .... but hope hes ok.

it is on the first decent right hander down the hill ? The one where it's right then left & Left again around the rock wall ?

It would have to be really greasy to lose it there..was it speed related ??

Shit! That's really crappy. Hope you're ok Andre.
As one half of the Hornsby-based bike-recovery team, let me know if there's anything we can do.

Mend quickly.

You got it ...

There was some water leaking across from the high side on the corner, then the bike basically slid up the side of the rock face .. just before the semi straight before the left hander ... bounced off the rock face and hit poor Andre ... nothin he could do ... except maybe shoulda kept a greater distance behind the cbr ... speed? ... well, I didnt see the actual accident . .but .... anyway.

Quite a bit of front end damage to poor old Andre's bike, but I think should be fixable ....
