I think you all need to HTFU! Day I got my first ever sports bike - it SNOWED on the way home. 15 degrees is bloody shorts and t-shirt weather, and if you think this 2 minute drizzle is rain I wouldn't recommend going to England any time soon.

When you have to dig to find your drive through the snow, or you own several ice scrapers for the window of your car because you are used to breaking them, or the servo pumps are running slow because the fuel has turned to slush - then you pull out the thermals and wooly jumpers, and you understand why it is called antifreeze and the effects on not using it. I've ridden through many English winters and never owned heated grips or heated clothing.

But then we used to put the air con on when it went over 20 degrees

Come on Mike. It's true, some of these nancy's think the 15 minute ride home is "riding all year" and to be honest, I could hardly see the point in rugging up if it was the sake of an hour or so.

But when it's down around 4 or 5 degrees, sometimes less, you're out in the middle of nowhere, it's been pissing down with rain for the last 4 or 5 hours and you're mooching along at about 60 or 70km/h and have been doing so for the last 12 hours, sometimes a couple of creature comforts are nice to have. :)

Ok Jason, I can make an exception for that - unless of course you're being a bastard handing out fines on that two wheeled mobile revenue raiser

When you have to dig to find your drive through the snow, an then lick road clean aft nice bowl of gravel , or the servo pumps are running slow because Grama wouldnt pedal ard enoof - then you pull out the thermals and wooly sheep , and you understand why I drink a wee bit too much and the effects on not using it. I've ridden through many English winters and never owned heated grips or heated clothing but always ad sheep sit on front , nice an warm .

But then i used to put the air con on when it went over 20 degrees so the rest of the family chipped in and sent me out here

Sorry Marty, couldn't help myself - I must be bored too   ;)

Back to topic: I actually don't own any 'winter' gear.... if its cold I wear long sleeves under my leathers and a dri-rider one piece rain suit - I've always found that to keep me warm, sometimes too warm. I only own summer gloves, which I will admit can get a bit cold in heavy rain, hail or snow! :o

Back to topic: I actually don't own any 'electric' gear.... I do however own a stack of battery operated stuff. its cold I use my heated dildo under my leathers and a bunny rabbit in the other place - I've always found that to keep me excited, sometimes too excited. I only own 32 of them, which I will admit can get a bit boring with so little to choose from! :o
That's perfectly Ok Rob!!!    I know how you feel!! ;)
