If you are able to, try and make sure these are included....they are the best out of the areas you have listed!!!!

Nymboida Rd! (from Casino up to Armidale)
Waterfall way (Armidale to Bellingen)
Wootten Way (Just south of Nabiac)
The Oxley of course.
Thunderbolts and Buckets are just OK in comparison, so don't panic if you miss them! :D

Found some Internets in Coffs Harbour, been having a ball.

Stayed last night at Boonah Motel, had a counter meal and a few drinks at the Dugandan Hotel just up the road.

Today covered off a fair few miles, main drama has been finding fuel as being Good Friday a few places have been shut. Very glad I had a 5-litre container of premium packed away, got me out of trouble twice!! As a measure of how much fun I've been having, best I've done is just under 190km from a tank... and that was with the light flashing for a good few minutes!

Not 100% sure on the plan for tomorrow, but will post up here with some pics when I get home in the next day or two :)

Ok well here's a semi ride report.

Thursday night: Brisbane->Boonah
This was a well-intentioned attempt at shaving an hour or two off the start of my trip. It did work, but with the Easter traffic and somehow ending up in Rathdowney instead of Boonah, it took me about four hours to cut an hour off my next day. Not to mention the rain... but hey it was a blast anyway. In particular loved the road from Rathdowney up to Boonah, and was very happy that it was actually the planned route for the next morning which meant I got another go.

Friday: Boonah->Rathdowney->Kyogle->Casino->Tenterfield->Glen Innes->Grafton->Coffs Harbour
Woke up and the day was perfect. Sun was out and the road drying up nicely... furk yeah! Covered some serious miles in style on the 12, it didn't leave anything to be desired, ticking the "hyper", "sports" and "tourer" boxes confidently. Luggage didn't weigh it down (although perhaps didn't do much for the aerodynamics?) and it took everything I could throw at it. Brakes are astounding, predictable, heaps of feel, etc etc etc... awesome. Engine-wise my only complaint is fuel consumption... probably another 10-15 horsepower would have been nice (14 engine, perhaps?) but aside from that it did everythign with ease. First gear is a bit of a waste of time above 50km/h, the bloody thing carries on like a pork chop with wheelspin and wheelstands. Being a fair bit lighter than the average 12R punter I found second gear was the go as with weight forward I can keep the front down most of the time. Apart from one "sheiiiiiiiiiik, where'd the road go!?!?" and one "bugger bugger bugger bugger" moment of intense threshold braking the day went without incident.

Saturday: Coffs Harbour->Bellingen->Armidale->Walcha->Wauchope->Port Mac->Kempsey->Macksville->Brisbane

The story of the day was fog & rain, but that didn't dampen my spirits too much.... didn't see many brass monkeys about though, certainly not near Armidale. Blardy freezing!! A well-enjoyed day, the Oxley was awesome but spoiled by mostly wet conditions, considering the amount of rain about I'm happy with the pace I was able to hold. Did have a brief moment involving something on the road and later in the day got a bit taily in the dry in fourth (!!), all very predictable and well-enjoyed. Honestly, can't wait to get the bastard out to QR.. once the bank recovers :P

Spent about $300 on fuel, $80 on Thursday's accomodation, another $80 on food/drink and chewed up about 60% of the rear tyre.
