Fitted them to our prime movers at work following a spate of truck V roo/wallaby incidents. Made not one jot of difference so we went for the electronic version - sound like crickets chirping. Given the bills I keep getting for repairs they act more as an attractant than deterent.

We hit a roo while using one of those electronic shu-roos, and my mate's dad has a picture of it covered in kangaroo blood/fur

When he first bought it he drove slowly toward a bunch of roos on the reserve, and they didn't even move. Called up the company, and they told him that the roos were relaxed in the paddock, but they'd be in a 'heightened state of awareness' near the road and would run away
Quite easily the biggest crock of shit I've ever heard - if they were in a 'heightened state of awareness' they'd be able to avoid the fucking cars
