I sent Eurosport an E-mail on Friday and was surprised to receive the detailed response below.

Dear Dave

Thank you very much for your email and your support for Eurosport. There are issues of broadcast rights that need to be acquired for broadcasting different sports events and although Eurosport showcases more than 60 different sports in Asia Pacific, to offer our viewers variety and choice, to complete their sports viewing experience, we unfortunately do not currently carry the two events you are requesting. Eurosport is relatively new to the region and we endeavour to continuously enrich our portfolio of sports events to present to our viewers.

That said, Eurosport is very strong in motor sports. Coming up in 2008, confirmed motor sport events Eurosport will broadcast (all mostly LIVE broadcast) include:

FIA World Touring Car Championships (WTCC)

International Rally Challenge (IRC)

Motocross World Championships

Supermoto World Championships

International Formula Masters

In addition, if you are interested in area of motor sports, Eurosport broadcasts weekly magazine shows relating to this area of interest. These include WTCC Magazine Show and Tuning Mania.

Schedules of our programs should be accessible via the EPGs on your TV. In addition, is there actually TV guide from Select TV that you receive monthly, since we pass all our program information to them 1 month ahead of time.

Thank you again for your support for Eurosport and should you have other enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us anytime.

Best regards,

Amy Luk

Fox & a hdd recorder Dave, All Gp rounds, (Qual & support races in some instances) all Sbk rounds, inc Supersport & some superstock, All Ama rounds, All IRR rounds(Mad Fuggers), all Aus road racing replayed on speedweek. All BSB including supersport highlights at the end of each year. I even scored a couple of rounds of the world endurance championship. They also toss up the odd dvd tile like the Legend series, Hailwood & Duke so Far.
Oh & pistaresistance they played the 2002 Sbk full highlights last week (edwards beat bayliss) & some bloke called toseland was touring around mid pack. ;)

Cheap as Chips imho esp. if you know how to read the guide & allow for the "Mexican Sunshine restrictions".
