Good on you BM. new bikes are cool no matter what make or colour. Besides we'll have someone other than Neka to hang shit on now..

Gee, I wish you'd had that test ride a few weeks ago when I was looking for an ER6f, lol.

Have fun on the new bike :)

Mate - one door shuts and another opens.....

Where are the pictures of the new steed ?? I am sure you will enjoy it heaps.

Now, have you done any track-days or any type of Rider training ? I think you need to look at some advanced training as quick as possible, to match the capabilities of your new sports tackle.

In 2 years, it will make a great trade-in on a ZX8R !! ;)

Thanks Gos.

I actually don't pick the bike up until Saturday, so I will get the official photographer onto the photos pronto.

I have done a few more advanced rider training courses, but also got another free rider training course thrown in as part of the deal on the new bike.

Stay tuned for an update as soon as I have the new wheels! :)

Looking forward to the pictures of your new rig, and good to hear about the extra riding course that has been thrown in as part of the deal. I am no Nanna (just ask Brett ;) ), but going from a 250 to a 600 twin is a good advance, a 600-4 Supersports bike is another kettle of fish altogether.....

A good instructor should have you getting a knee down in no time !

but a much smarter stepping stone than going from a 250 to a zx10r...

well.......that depends a lot on the rider and experience.

I know some people who have gone from a 250 straight to a (eg) ZX12R !! No problemo..........but I agree, its not something you would normally recommend, a 250 to a ZX10R, unless the rider is ripping darkies everywhere on the 2fiddy, and is clearly capable of the step-up....
