Well yeah your right Neka I am pissed off, but it realy comes down to communication. I took the time to ask him 3 questions through e-bay messaging and called him direct and I certainly expressed an interest. As I said it was the fact that I was holding onto cash to pay for the item if I won while I missed other items. He did not have the courtesy to even message me back to say he had sold them, just banged up an edit to the page, even though I was the only bidder at that stage. Then Even after I "won" the auction on Sat I didn't hear from him until last night just to be sure that I didn't owe him the cash. It's just poor form from a seller.Neka79 wrote:i dont meant to sound insensitive... but maybe im a little niave... but everyone puts up on a ebay listing that they can sell to sumone else and cancel the auction dont they??
i kno ur pissed off cos u missed out , but is what he's done really a c&$t act?? ...if so, and its worthy of a negative feedback, please tell me why..i'd hate to make a ebay error!!

And I'm a whinging little girl. So whats your point?
Not at all. Sometimes you will see this disclaimer on certain items (eg cars etc) where the car is also advertised in the Trading Post, or wherever.Neka79 wrote:i dont meant to sound insensitive... but maybe im a little niave... but everyone puts up on a ebay listing that they can sell to sumone else and cancel the auction dont they??.......
Problem with this is that E-bay provides a tit for tat with feedback. I leave a negative for him, he leaves a negative for meGosling1 wrote:Not at all. I couldn't see this disclaimer in the auction that S&W won. Adrian - you have rights as the winning bidder, and that fuckhead seller also has obligations that he agrees to when selling the goods. Lodge a dispute with e-bay about your winning bid, and make life as miserable as you can for this fuckhead. Negative feedback is the least you can provide.....
