I think you are just born with the skills or not.

I have been changed industries several time, I have done finance, IT, manufacturing, tourism. Mind you in most of those roles I have been doing sales or account managment, business development. I think it is easier to change industries, harder to change your actual role within the same industry but the hardest of all is to change industry and role.

But with a young family, single income and a reasonable pay packet it's very hard to take the step. And where do I go?? I don't have any other skills....
I know the felling, my thoughts exactly.

From reading this it sounds like allmost everybody goes through it at one stage or another. Having done my HSC while i was working would have loved to do a trade, as you mentioned Neka but living out of home doing school paying the bills ect there was no way i could have afforded it. How many strange looks i got filling out applications for a shitty unit at the age of 16, saying yea i can afford it  .

One other option i thought of is the company i am with is a franchise agangement, get the project up and running then request a Franchise. I could be appearing anywhere around the country

Sorry for not getting here sooner but internet is stuffed at home untill the 1st, got to love the speed retrictions on "Exceeded Limit" Bastards

Only advice - make sure you enjoy it - whatever it is!
I second that - just enjoy whatever you do
