Yes, personally think it makes things a bit more pleasing to the eye.

wd40 has oil in it and the stuff wont stick real good i reckon.

use metho maybe?
Yep, avoid using WD40 - Thinners (acetone) is the best bet to clean surfaces before sticking rim-tape on.

Dude use thinners & the paint will dull... best bet is alcohol or white spirit... no damage to the paint then :D

I would say yes to thinners, and try kero thats the way to go.......

Kero has oil in it which will ensure the rim tape flies off at the earliest opportunity! White spirit or prepsol or prepwash is the go.

That rim tape should be worth at least 5 seconds a lap and an increase of 30% in the chance of obtaining a blow job while parked at the Cafe!

30% of 0 is still 0!!! ;)

Silver like the stickers ? White ? Red would look ok..

My mate recently put reflective red on his Metallic red R1, gave it a great race look and spotted an orange crim other day with orange tape... looks good!

Looks Awesome!

I put some on the 7 - haven't done the front yet have been lazy.... Its a bit hard to see in this photo - but its the same colour pink as the shadow on the Kawasaki and Ninja stickers and the Kawasaki etc. on the ZZR...

I love it I reckon it breaks up the black on black wheels just a little...

Is it easy to put on? Or is it really easy to fuck it up so that it only looks any good when the bike is standing still?

Frozzle or ebay to buy it from?

Oh....BTW...any chance of changing the thread title slightly. No offence to him, but I'm not keen on even considering rimming Tape!!! He's a bloke for one and he's ugly on top of that!!!! ;)

Is it easy to put on so it looks OK? I don't want it looking like it's all wobbly...
