Well...
it was a bit of a gumby thing to do lol
I was riding in front of my mate, and i looked back to see where she was. The road turned and i didn't, i hit the left hand curb and fell onto the side of the road.
i was a bit surprised the bike was a write off but oh well...
does anyone know the go with the LAMS?
cause i'd prefer to get a bigger bike say 400/600 so when i get on my opens i dont have to start lookin for another bike.
is there a way i can get just the one off bike passed?

lams has a list of bikes... like Er-5, svr 660, wr-450 etc..power to weight of 150kw to the tonne...
u cant ride a inline 4 600cc..or even a zx4r or vfr400 under lams... unless its on the list...
good luck tho, find a new bike and b done with it...

Googled Lams approved motorbikes, and a PDF format of all bikes current from May07 is available-can't believe you can jump on a 1340cc Harley, but not an ER6N!??!
Good option is a ZZ-R 400 or GS500F

Only chance of harming yourself on a Harley is doing your back pushing the fat POS.

There's something wrong with those silver bikes.
I knew someone who crashed one... five times.
Bad luck, mate.
Maybe you should learn to ride the pants off a 250 before shifting up to something bigger, though...
Just my opinion.

welcome ...sorry to hear about the bike ........the blue ones fall over too.......insurance write off ??........you still got the wreck...it may be fixable.........two's arent that exy so write off figure is prob pretty low.........if no major frame, fork or engine damage you might just be back on..with a home made plastic repair .....mirrors ...brake /clutch lever....the odd peg........... just a thought

The only two things that a ZX2 has over ANY other model in the range is less petrol (slightly) and cheaper tyres. That's it
Trust me, I had to repair mine many times

shaman not disputing costs....just thought may be an option if damage was plastics and mirrors and levers....done a few home repairs myself ...after my decent off and a few of the sons misdemeanors...not talking new replacements...........epoxy/glass... soldering iron and bog for plastics (i'm well over the need for pretty till i can afford a new ride )...new levers arent that x and theres always flea bay for second hand bits quite a bit of zxr250 on there at mo or a week ago anyway ..........hope its not your bike seano............. give you a chance to see how some of the peripherals bits of your bike work too
a few 250's fell over today at the mgp (saw it on tele)........now those bits would be really xie
