after a light wash give it a good spray with the Lanolin Household ($9.50 atm from SupaCheap), apply liberally and will soak in within minutes, leave out for a few hours and then buff the sticky stuff off with a piece of towling, nice and soft and waterproof. Did the boots as well, seems good gear.

Neatsfoot Oil works well after cleaning to make the leather supple again.

Hose down your leathers, give em a good scrub then hose em down again. Air dry them, then get a rag and apply the neatsfoot oil (not too much) and they're as good as new!

Ive used it for a few years and it works really well.

You can buy it from saddlery shops etc.

Dont buy neatsfoot oil from a saddlery, they charge too much. Get it from a hardware store instead.

heres the skinny on how to clean your skins. dubbin is for hard leather , neatsfoot is for shoes ,g-wy is for saddlery, lanolin is for motorcycle garment. you can drop your gear ,less armour, into a laundromat washing machine on delicate , might as well root someboby elses machine  . hang em out of the sun until nearly dry ,then give them a wipe of lanolin, dont use too much it goes a long way. then if you can 'ride them dry'. when you get home they will fit perfect. if you have any doubts ,try it . cheers scooter junkies .hiside....www.hisideleathers.com
