correct me if I'm wrong but the ZRX has a more tuneable suspension set up than the Z so thats gotta be a plus.

Oh and 1200ccs of raw carbied grunt!

not as nice to look at as a Z tho.

The ZRX has twin shocks at the back... easier to really F*ck things up...

and how do you figure that how is it any different to one monoshock, i've seen plenty of people get it wrong with one of those.

apply the same settings to both would be a pretty good place to start.

the zrx has FULLY adjustable suspension, ie preload, rebound AND compression at both ends....

The Z is lighter, faster, revvier, more fun, great brakes, more of a hooligan. That's the one I'd be going for. I don't have much love for the twin shock retro loaf bikes, they have sensible written all over them. The z1000 looks a bit rude but at least it's not pretending to be from the 70s.

As for "less go than a ZX9" - the Z1000 will beat a ZX-9R up to 200kmh, accorsing to some brit bike mag I saw.

maybee, but it still didnt have as much low or midrange puch as my nine........

i know of a certain zx12, that could escape the Z on the short straights at the track...

different story on the longer ones but..

so they reckon the zed has abt 122hp or thereabouts, and the 9 is tuned differently, so wot kind hp comparison (torque maybe too??) are we looking at ??

phils 9 had more power ont he dyno than my Zed...

Mine went on the dyno straight after his.
not sure about midrange but.

Huh? I always thought the ZRX was a ZZR 1100/1200 motor with a ZX9R front end
