are they model specific or do you just buy a mounting plate for the type of bike you own?

Yep, sure was MM! Oddly enough, I did comment to the pillion in a million (who was very happy to see her new combination cosmetics/hairdryer/5 changes of clothes box and backrest!!!!) that it was very well packed and supported. A nice big box with cardboard internal self made buffers, wrapped with blue strapping, then taped in every possible weakpoint with clear tape and finally black shrink/stretch wrapped entirely!!!!!! Brilliant!!!!! :D It arrived intact and as ordered including the additional bracketry and mounts! Let Steve know he's a Star and the big ginger haired guy know the alpine star gloves are mint too!!!!! I actually made comment about my positive experiences with these two guys in another thread!! They are well worth a visit at Bikebiz if they stock or can get what you want!

Now ducati Paul!!!!
How does it attach to the bike? A subrame extension bracket bolts to the subframe to provide a 2nd mounting point (there is already a bar on the R1100RS) then a plate is mounted to these points and the box clicks onto that!

are they model specific or do you just buy a mounting plate for the type of bike you own? Yep sure are, Bikebiz At Parramatta are good with this stuff if in Sydney, otherwise slip into Bikebarn in elizabeth st Melb and see Paul, in Adl/Perth/Brisvegas and shag ya sisterville i'm not sure where though , maybe try a bigger bike shop:wink:

do Givi have a website? Yep, but I found it difficult to find what I wanted.
is this too many questions? Getting there
how many questions are too many? How many questions have you asked?
if it was't too many before is it too many now? I'm pretty sure it is, what do you feel?
how about now? Getting there now, are you?
