It was a bad day in sydney for bikes yesterday. I heard of three that went down. No one from here I hope.

I got away from commuting on the bike, i was so wound up after a 20 minute ride that it was giving me a bad start to the day, and after having claimed a few mirrors i started to feel hunted

How about those nasty hard to remove ones that get stuck on your car by body corporates. Perhaps saying "I nearly killed someone today!" Tho I dunno if I could fit enough stickers in my pocket for trip to work and back each day... :?

A 34 year old male from Kirrawee, was killed today at Sylvania. Dont know what happened but bike & car came together. Guy on bike allwas comes out second best. He died at the scene. I drive to work and the amount of idiots on the road is amazing. Ive been hit 3 times goin to & from work. Thats why I drive now. 1 accident left me in a wheel chair for a year, and outta work for 3 years.

Ride like you are invisable.

so sell ur bike, wrap ur self in cotton wool and dont leave ur house....

mate if its ur time, its ur time...bad things happen to good ppl unfortunately... ive lost many freinds (a few close ones) thru bikes...its never stopped me riding...cos its what i do...

if u start to think negatively, ur not concerntrating on what u are doing (riding) and THATS when things go bad...

if u have doubts, put the bike away for a few weeks (see how itchy u get) or take it to the track (much safer) , or stay out of the city at peak hour...

i love adelaide cos theres not as much shit traffic, and i loved the sth highlands (robbo , moss vale etc) cos traffic was non existant...
