really?? every bike ive ever ridden over the last say ...10yrs has had a side stand switch..and i reckon all of em have stalled as soon as u kick the stand past a certain level...and most wont start while in gear....MiG wrote:Not true. On the GPX250 both the sidestand and starter cutouts rely on the clutch lever switch, so only when you begin to release the clutch does it cut the ignition. If you have some revs and you're doing a slow start it's not hard to put the clutch in before the revs drop too low.
