on the PI trip down, Glens ZX10 had the best fuel comsumption out of the Z, 2 9's and a 12.

the Z had the worst but :lol:

and phils tyres didnt wear partly cos he has an ohlins set up well, partly cos he had M3's on, and partly coz he only rode the 1st 15kms of day 2 :lol:

Thanks for the input guys :D

I think I'm kinda sold on a 9. I dont need to go fast, I have a 10 in the shed remember? :lol:

An all-rounder is what I'm after. Will probably go out after easter and test ride a few 9's I've seen around. Will do my best for an F model, but I do want a green one, and there's an E model that I quite like.

What are the major differences between the models? I'm an amatuer when it comes to 9's!

not a real lot, it would be better to find a good one of whatever model. and the E's in green look senfarkinsational

I got a 2000 E model zx9 and love it :wink: She got heaps of go but is comfy as can do 500k's in a day with me misses on the back easy and she dont complain ( to busy hangin' on !) Go the 9

Mate spot on in Melbourne city has my old beast still for sale. Please give it a good home, it deserves better than sitting out on that footpath with all the shit.. At the moment it has $12990 on it. My wife wont let me buy it back, i know you will love it..

Haven't ridden the 12, but found my 9 comfier than the 10 I test rode. Reason I picked it actually was for comfort reasons: sportsbike with livable ergonomics!

I've got the F model (2002), which will be up for sale shortly, if you're looking. It's got a couple of scratches, but is well looked after. It'll be going cheap too. :D
