Once the stickers are gone it's probably a good idea to remove the remains of the eucalyptus oil with Windex as well, I'm pretty sure the oil is not good long-term on the paintwork

when some smarty little farka decided to badge my car ( a fricking corolla ffs!!!) i had to buy new badges (one on the front and three on the back, total cost of $80) and had to remove the old goop, the only thing that got rid of the old residue without marking or leaving any trace was big kevs goo remover. if you cant find that, almost any other citrus based surface cleaner would do a good job.
But the euco oil will do an awesome job too.
So why did you bother spending the 80 bucks to put them back on, as you said 'It's a fricking corolla ffs' ?
Or better yet, you could have given the guy who took the badges, the 80 bucks and asked him to take the rest of the car too !!! LOL !

i meant the pointlessness of him badging a Corolla dumbass :p , i mean ffs theres a HSV that parks at the bottom of my street, that thing wasn't missing any badges. If i was a young idiot looking to pilf badges i'd be more interested in those on one of those than a commuter carolla coaster.
Oh and a part (not even half) of the reason i replaced them was i was annoyed at them being pilfed, and the other half, ok 3/4 was my then girlfriend NAGGING me to replace them, as she was so much a sucker for giving two shits about what her friends thought it actually f*ing mattered to her that the stupid things were missing.

Yeah, I knew what you meant but I couldn't resist ! It's a Corolla ffs ! but on second thoughts, you should have given the guy the 80 bucks to steal your Girlfriend instead ! LOL !

Hi Colette little tip from a so called expert!
You have probably finished the job, but in the future this might come in handy.
White spirit (dry cleaning fluid) can be used on most painted surfaces & perfect for automotive paint.
It will aid in the removal of all paper & vinyl self adhesive labels it will also remove the adhesive layer left after peeling the top layer.
White spirit is also perfect for removing tar stains (roadwork gunk) from car & MC paintwork guards & framework.
It smells like it would be harsh but it does not have damaging solvents & works better than anything else on the market.

If you use a hairdryer at the start the sticker generally comes straight off, if any bits are left over I use WD40.
