If you can't sort them out in court, we can always send
YAPPA to sort them out 'out of court'

Mate it looks pretty simple to me- when you do a u-turn you have to give way to ALL pedestrians and traffic. Seems like old mate forgot this rule. Can you prove he was doing a U-turn? Hope so. All the best with your recovery and recovery of damages to your bike!

This doesn't sound right, I can't believe that the cops would charge you,.....was it at or near an intersection or a drive way??? i.e.was there something that the car driver could be saying they were turning into??

Take it to court mate.... take it to court...
firstly just make sure your witness is going to stick to the correct story.
you will end up with the cost of both vehicles damage on insurance, or if you didn't have any have to pay for their car... fark that!
defend the injustice mate...

and the behaviour of the other cars on the road was F******* mad no indicators speeding

One bloke in a company ute I rang his employer as he was down right a public danger (His employer thanked me for the call and said this was NOT the first time) back to the subject at hand from what you describe is not what you describe a Victorian j turn a mate told me about it pull left to go right was the driver a visitor who did not know the local rule may be some vic members can comment so as to add to your case to sue the bastards

Sounds nasty Marty. I reckon you are entitled to feel scared & shitty after something like that & dont you just love the ticket from the constabulary to cheer you up!
I went for a ride on the pushy today to try to get back on the fitness kick & some fuckstick in a car deliberately tried to shave my right leg for me to save me on a wax. Makes you mad when you think of the injury they can cause you just because they are in the more powerful vehicle & wanting to show that they dont like cyclists. On the way back I decided to ride on the path rather than the road & bugger me but there was a car that had been hit by a van & had crashed in front of me over the bike path & into the trees on the foreshore.
In the past 12 months I am finding everyone in cars is driving like freakin idiots! Grumble, grumble ......
