Given that all tey eat is gum leaves can't imagne they would be terribly palatable. Read a bit about what Koories used to eat and never read anything about Koalas either.. so chances are, if they don't eat em they must taste like shit

Have you been into the chilli again Marty?
Seriously though, everyone start prayin that the Whitfield pub gets saved!!! Otherwise, where the hell else are we gonna go for lunch??? Hope the smoke kills off some of the bloody flys.
Hope everyone's houses are safe too. Funny, but my house is built upon land that the Ash Wednesday fires burnt through, back when it was all horse paddocks.

Yeah, it was fine this morning, but it's gradually come across the airport today. Hope it doesnt get any thicker, or we'll have no traffic airside due to poor visibility

Coming over the westgate bridge at 7.30 this morning, the smoke had already obscured the city

, and the Sun through the smoke took on this colour of which I have never seen before

. It was like a chalky or pastel pinkish redish colour! Most unusual and almost a little post apocolyptic in it's effect!! I expected my skin to start peeling any second!
